The transfer of personnel on and off a platform is a dangerous undertaking requiring specialised equipment to ensure complete safety. Crane lifting specially designed transfer devices provides the solution to old but still used methods such as swinging on a rope between vessel and rig.
FMS Group is committed to safety and the promotion of safe practices and aim to safely address the issues faced when performing marine personnel transfer. We have 15 years experience in the maintenance, sale and service of transfer equipment, providing our clients with qualified trained staff in the field.
Billy Pugh Transfers
FMS is an authorized agent for Billy Pugh Co., Inc (BPC) equipment for Malaysia since 2017. Our personnel were trained in Corpus Christi, Texas by BPC to perform the required maintenance for their equipment.
With the support of genuine parts from USA, we are able to supply, repair, refurbish and recertify BPC products, particularly the X-904 Offshore Transfer Device series. Our facilities in Kuantan and Labuan are able to cater any works for clients in both peninsular and East Malaysia region.
Since our appointment in 2017, we have performed inspection, refurbishment and recertification work for various clients in Malaysia.
